STOCKHOLM, Sweden, March 12 (UPI) -- Swedish candy company Cloetta apologized to consumers upset to learn there was no "love" or "joy" on their chocolate bars as expected.

Advertisements for the Mini Plopps candy bars indicated the products would bear the words "Love," "Hugs," Kiss" and "Joy" on the chocolate, but many customers said they were upset to find the candy only includes the words "Hugs" and "Kiss," The Local reported Monday.

One angry customer who said she had planned to take advantage of the "Love" theme by distributing the candies at her wedding reported the company to the Swedish Consumer Agency for false advertising.

"We made only two of them, but the press picture shows four. Which was unfortunate. We can only bow our heads and apologize," Cloetta spokeswoman Christina Bjorck said.

Claes Ekstrom, the company's owner, said he was also baffled by the error because he had always intended the candies to bear all four words. He said some "exciting news" involving "love" will be coming in the near future.
