ATHENS, Greece, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Greek officials said adding criminal categories of behavioral disorders to a list of Personal Disability Quotients does not make people eligible for benefits.
The Employment Ministry said the inclusion of the behavioral disorders, including voyeurs, pedophiles and pyromaniacs, to the state disability list is strictly for medical assessment and not benefit entitlement, Athens News reported Tuesday.
The statement came after disability groups complained about the inclusion of criminal categories of behavioral disorders on the government's list of Personal Disability Quotients and questioned whether their members, including the blind and physically disabled, would suffer from having to share benefits with those diagnosed with such disorders.
