WEST PARK, Fla., Nov. 5 (UPI) -- A former WWE wrestler who has taught prospective pro wrestlers for 20 years said his school has returned to its original location -- his Florida back yard.

Rusty Brooks, 55, who wrested for the WWE in the 1980s, said he was able to move the Rusty Brooks Pro-Wrestling Academy, which has trained hundreds of wrestlers, to a warehouse in the 1990s, but waning interest in the sport and the declining economy led him to move it back to his yard in West Park, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported Friday.

"We were in a warehouse for a little while but with the economy being what it is the back yard is perfect," Brooks said. "There's no overhead."

Students said they don't mind the change in facilities.

"It is not the nicest of places. I mean, it's his back yard," Chris Jones, 21, said. "But you go here because of Rusty. He's a book of knowledge. He knows his stuff and the history of the sport. That goes a long way."
