STREETSBORO, Ohio, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Police in Ohio said they were able to track down a man who took a $499 Apple iPad from a Walmart because he left his debit card at the store.

Investigators said the clerk at Walmart stepped away to seek help from a supervisor after several unsuccessful attempts to scan the Streetsboro man's debit card to pay for the iPad Oct. 30, and the suspect ran off with the device, leaving the card behind, The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer reported Wednesday.
