The White House said in a written statement that the loot handed out by the president and first lady includes healthy dried fruit as well as a cookie baked by the presidential pastry chef and a box of custom-made White House M&Ms.

The Obamas brought in a professional pumpkin carver and a group of costumed actors who will add to the excitement around the North Portico and inside where children from various elementary schools, military families and the Boys and Girls Club will be hosted at a Halloween party.
