SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Police in California said three women were issued public nudity citations for allegedly serving customers in a Vietnamese coffee shop while topless.

San Jose police said officers conducting a routine check of the Quyen Cafe at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday spotted the women, ages 22, 22 and 23, serving coffee while topless, and they were each issued a citation for public nudity and will have to appear in court, the San Jose Mercury News reported Friday.

The women's names were not released.

Officer Jose Garcia said the owners of the cafe were not cited, but "that's not to say the city won't take action down the road."
