BEDFORD, N.H., Aug. 10 (UPI) -- A family of Dutch tourists visiting New Hampshire said they were shocked when a black bear walked into the backyard of relatives during a game of Monopoly.

Lisa Jordan-Anker said she was visiting her parents' Bedford home with her husband and two sons Monday when the bear interrupted the Monopoly game her 8 and 9-year-old sons were playing with their grandmother, WMUR-TV, Manchester, N.H., reported Wednesday.

"Out of the woods came this bear, so I panicked and ran to the porch door and said, 'Get in the house, get in the house,'" Lisa Jordan-Anker said.

The family said they snapped pictures of the bear from inside the house as the animal tore down a birdfeeder and emptied it of its contents.

"I think the boys have quite a story to tell when they're back at school in Holland," said Hans Anker, the boys' father.

Bedford police said the incident marked the third black bear sighting in the city since the start of the summer.
