Lars Persson of the Skelleftea police said the 31-year-old man, whose name was not released, initially denied the charges against him but changed his mind and pleaded guilty to aggravated theft during his remand hearing, Swedish news agency TT reported Tuesday. Advertisement Persson said the man reached into his underwear during the hearing and pulled out the medications he was accused of stealing from a residence. "This is the first time someone under arrest produces suspected stolen goods in the middle of a remand hearing," Persson said.
