The survey found a quarter of respondents ages 25 to 44 admitted to using their smartphones to access work e-mail after leaving for the day.
"This survey shows that smartphones have become an indispensable part of everyday life and people feel the need to check their work e-mails regularly, even when not at work," said Santanu Nandi, executive vice president of Firstsource Solutions' telecom and media division.
