Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe SUPERIOR, Wis., June 17 (UPI) -- A Wisconsin man who had his "dumbest idea ever" is facing charges for allegedly entering a female neighbor's apartment and attempting to "sneak a peek" at her. Superior police said Matthew Douglas Bonney, 28, told them he entered his neighbor's apartment June 5 to steal some quarters to do laundry and decided to "sneak a peek" when he heard the shower running, the Superior Telegram reported Thursday. Advertisement The woman heard the man enter the bathroom and chased him out of the apartment. Police said Bonney approached the squad car when an officer arrived and said he knew he was going to be arrested. He told the officer entering the apartment was his "dumbest idea ever." Bonney pleaded not guilty June 6 to invasion of privacy and criminal trespass. He was granted $500 bail on the condition he have no contact with the victim.
