BOSTON, June 13 (UPI) -- A Russian opera singer said she will teach a pair of screaming lessons to Boston Bruins fans ahead of Game 6 of the Stanley Cup.

Elena Zoubareva, a Moscow native and hockey fan who graduated from the Berklee College of Music in 2003, said she will hold two "scream-offs" at 4 and 5:30 p.m. Monday outside the TD Garden to show hockey fans the proper way to scream for their team, the Boston Herald reported Monday.

Zoubareva said improper screaming can lead to nodules and polyps on vocal folds.

"They don't really scream very well," she said of hockey fans. "People take their voices for granted. But don't get me wrong: My main concern is their health. I'm a huge hockey fan and I want the Bruins to win."
