Facebook friends tattoo video a hoax

ROTTERDAM, Netherlands, June 9 (UPI) -- A video depicting a girl receiving a tattoo with pictures of her 152 Facebook friends is a hoax, a Dutch tattoo artist said.

Dex Moelker, a Rotterdam tattoo artist, said the girl in the YouTube video posted by user Susyj87 was given a temporary sleeve tattoo instead of the real thing, Dutchnews.nl reported Thursday.

"It is a try out tattoo, a transfer, that washes off in a couple of days," Moelker told the Telegraaf.

He said the video, which was picked up by news Web sites including CNN.com, was created as a publicity stunt for his tattoo shop.
