ROCK HILL, S.C., June 7 (UPI) -- South Carolina Department of Natural Resources workers said they've set a trap baited with sardines and honey buns for a black bear seen wandering in Rock Hill.

The DNR said the live trap was set Monday for the bear, which was first reported in the area Sunday, the Rock Hill Herald reported Tuesday.

DNR Cpl. Dwayne Rogers said honey buns and sardines make the perfect bait to cage the bear, which he said would be attracted to the combination of "something sweet and something stinky."

Officials said they plan to relocate the young bear to an area in the mountains.
