LAS VEGAS, June 1 (UPI) -- Las Vegas animal control officers said they were called to the home of a man who reported an unusual intruder -- a peacock with emerald green feathers.
Officers said the bird was first spotted in the man's yard near Eastern and Spencer and strolled into the house through an open sliding door, KTNV, Las Vegas, reported Tuesday.
Animal control said the bird, which wandered through the man's home and walked over his bed, was eventually snared in the living room.
The bird was caught uninjured, officers said.
