ST. PAUL, Minn., May 6 (UPI) -- Police in Minnesota said a police horse spooked by a loud noise spun around quickly and shattered the window of a coffee shop.
St. Paul police said the horse, Black Jack, was startled by the noise from some fallen equipment Tuesday and spun around quickly, shattering the large window of Midway Rendezvous Coffee, the (St. Paul) Pioneer Press reported Friday.

Police spokesman John Keating said the horse suffered some cuts from the broken glass and was treated at the University of Minnesota Equine Center.
"He's on stall rest for a week, but he'll be just fine," Keating said.
Angie Nalezny, St. Paul human resources director, said the coffee shop can file a claim with the city for the money to replace the window.
