Loveland City Manager Tom Carroll said he is recommending the City Council change a law banning goats from the city limits on the condition that only two live in a household and the animals individually weigh no more than 60 pounds, The Columbus Dispatch reported Tuesday. Sherry McGee said her family was unaware of the city's rules about goats when they obtained the animals. She said Carroll consulted with them in drafting the new rules. "We made a mistake," McGee said. "The city listened to us. The city is not the bad guy here."
