Hollywood police said Esther Armbrister, 20, of Miami, was detained outside the Westin Diplomat Hotel when a man staying at the hotel accused her of taking the cash from the pocket of his shorts, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported Wednesday. Advertisement Officers said Armbrister denied the accusations and showed an officer she wasn't hiding anything in her pockets or bra. However, police said an officer removed the woman's glued-on wig and found she was hiding 15 $100 bills and six $20 bills. Armbrister was arrested and later admitted to taking the money, police said. She was charged with grand theft and resisting an officer without violence.
