EAST NAPLES, Fla., March 25 (UPI) -- Authorities in Florida said they arrested a Walmart employee who allegedly bit a co-worker's finger because she believed the other woman was seeing her husband.

Collier County sheriff's deputies said Clodia Coicour, 43, of East Naples, confronted the other woman in the parking lot of the East Naples store Monday, the Naples (Fla.) Daily News reported Thursday.

The alleged victim told police she was leaving the store at the end of her shift at about 7 a.m. and Coicour threw a substance in her face that burned her eyes. The woman said she struggled with Coicour and the attacker bit the tip off her right ring finger.

Coicour, who was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with great bodily harm causing permanent disfigurement, told deputies she believed the other woman was having an affair with her husband, who also works at Walmart.

The alleged victim and Coicour's husband denied having an affair.
