Laura Kalamets, 29, said she was eating lunch Monday at the Thorpe's Market Avenue Grill in Canton with boyfriend Mark Rose, 39, when he called her attention to a Stark Area Regional Transit Authority stopped across the street, the Canton Repository reported Tuesday. Advertisement "I looked at it, and I almost didn't really put two and two together," Kalamets said. She said the bus was emblazoned with a red advertisement reading, "Laura, Will You Marry Me?" "I about had a heart attack," said Kalamets, who accepted the proposal. "I was really shocked. ... I've seen it on TV, and I never thought in a million years, it'd be like this." She said the proposal was capped off when Kirt Conrad, the executive director of SARTA, got off the bus and delivered her a bouquet of red roses.
