KIROV, Russia, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- A drunken Russian driver who caused five collisions in half an hour, resulting in three injuries, was sentenced to 10 days in jail.
Police in Kirov said the driver, a Kirov businessman whose name was not released, was the cause of five crashes between 11:15 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. Tuesday. He did not stop at the scenes of any of the incidents, the BBC reported Friday.
Investigators did not give information on the severity of the injuries involved.
Police said the man was drunk when pulled over en route to the village of Kominternovsky.
