CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Feb. 8 (UPI) -- The Massachusetts health economist behind President Obama's healthcare plan said he is creating a comic book to help explain the overhaul to the country.

Jonathan Gruber, 45, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology health economist who worked on the health plan, said his children talked him into using the medium of the comic book to explain the complicated healthcare overhaul to U.S. citizens, the Boston Herald reported Tuesday.

"I'm going to use the facts to tell the story," Gruber said. "I'm the narrator guiding the reader through the law. It'll have lots of pictures and text."

The comic book, tentatively titled "Health Care Reform: What It Is, Why It's Necessary, How it Works," is due out in the fall from publisher Hill and Wang.
