Mark Mihalik of Harpersfield Township said he had seen ice sculptures in Alaska and other travel destinations but he was finally inspired to create one of his own when he heard about a man in a nearby town creating his own sculpture last year, The (Akron, Ohio) Star Beacon reported Monday. Mihalik, who said he came up with his own methodology for the sculpture without reading any guides, said he is already planning a 50-foot-tall sequel sculpture for next year. "It will be the Eiffel Tower," he said. Read More Gore ice sculpture stands 8 1/2 feet tall
