A man's hand can hold about 10 grams of marijuana. Baker told the officers she had been arguing with her boyfriend and he left the home on foot.
The officers said they discovered small plastic bags of marijuana, cannabis plants and marijuana paraphernalia in the home. Romero said he heard a sound coming from behind some cardboard boxes and Baker told him it was her pet alligator.
Baker was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana plants, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. The alligator was turned over to Los Lunas Animal Control.
