Organizers said they sold more than 1,200 tickets to the event, a spoof of the popular Miss America pageant, not counting tickets sold at the door.

Kitty Hiccups took the top prize after wowing judges with a rendition of "I Wanna Be a Rockette," while other musical acts included Navaya Shay, real name Thom Gait, performing a Lady Gaga number.

The pageant, which was organized by the Greater Atlantic City GLBT Alliance and the Schultz-Hill Scholarship Foundation, raised funds for several area charities.
