"Bubble Ball," by eighth-grader Robert Nay of Spanish Fork, became the App Store's top free game last week, switched.com reported. Advertisement Nay spent more than a month using Ansca Mobile's Corona SDK to write 4,000 lines of code for the physics-based game, also available for Android, the report said. The goal of the game is to guide a pink ball across several levels with other objects and gravity. Switched.com said "Bubble Ball" was released Dec. 29. The Deseret News said the game has been downloaded 2 million times in the last couple of weeks, and had the potential to bring in at least $2 million if it wasn't free -- enough to pay for Nay to attend Brigham Young University, the school he wants to attend, 113 times. Nay decided to develop the app for iPhone after getting encouragement from a friend, the newspaper said. He is now chief executive officer of Nay Games.
