Bullet bounces off cellphone

ATLANTA, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Atlanta police said a nightclub valet's life may have been saved by his cellphone when a bullet fired by a gunman ricocheted off the device.

Investigators said the Halo club valet parking attendant had his phone in his breast pocket shortly before 3 a.m. Thursday when a pair of gunmen, who witnesses said were kicked out of the club, fired off several rounds, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Thursday.
