Carol Johnson, director of the department's Division of Disease Control, said the contest, which runs through Jan. 14, is open to artists whose entries present a "unique and positive message," the Philadelphia Daily News reported. Advertisement Johnson said the winning design will adorn the wrappers of at least 500,000 condoms distributed by the city next year. "We're trying to push the prevention message," Johnson said. "We're looking for something bold to help promote the use of condoms." Johnson said the winner will be chosen by an online vote.
