Nick Ginetta, general sales manager for Nations Trucks in Sanford, said the promotion began on Veterans Day and runs through the end of November, WKMG-TV, Orlando, Fla., reported Monday. Advertisement Ginetta said customers taking advantage of the promotion are issued vouchers for a local gun store, and must undergo the same application process and set of qualifications as anyone attempting to purchase a gun. The manager said customers who decline the gun will instead receive $400 cash. The dealership said the promotion has had a positive effect on sales, with 47 appointments scheduled for Friday, compared with the usual three. Ginetta said the promotion may be extended until the close of the year.
