Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe MEMPHIS, Oct. 4 (UPI) -- Police in Memphis said a man faces aggravated assault charges for allegedly shooting a teenager in the buttock when the teen refused to pull up his saggy pants. Kenneth Bonds, 45, was charged Saturday with two counts of aggravated assault, the Memphis Commercial Appeal reported Monday. Advertisement Police said Bonds argued with the teenagers, ages 16 and 17, at about 7:30 p.m. Sept. 25 while the youths were walking to a store in the Whitehaven neighborhood. Officers said Bonds pulled a black semiautomatic pistol from his waistband and fired shots at the youths while they ran away. One of the bullets struck the 17-year-old in his buttock and exited through his thigh. He was taken to Methodist South Hospital and transferred to the Regional Medical Center.
