JENKS, Okla., Sept. 15 (UPI) -- A 15-year-old Oklahoma high school freshman obtained a perfect score on the college entry ACT test on what she said was supposed to be a practice run.
Jolee Potts, 15, of Jenks, said she was only taking the ACT as practice for retaking it during her ensuing years of high school, but her score came back as a perfect 36, KOTV, Mobile, Ala., reported Wednesday.
"I hadn't taken chemistry or physics yet and there were a bunch of questions on that, so I guess I'm a good guesser," Potts said.
"My mom, she was really excited. I just wish my dad could have been here to see it. He passed away in March," she said.
Potts said she plans to take on the SAT next year.
