WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., July 13 (UPI) -- The parents of two young men suspected of robbing a South Florida bank turned them over to authorities, police said.
Andrew Wright, 18, of Palm Beach Gardens surrendered Sunday afternoon, the Palm Beach Post reported. A few hours earlier, police say, his father, Gary Wright, recognized Andrew on surveillance video shown on local TV and had a talk with him.
Police said they got a call from Michael Jeezalik's parents who said they had seen the 24-year-old and Wright cobbling together a robbery note Friday afternoon.
The Bank of America branch in Boynton Beach was robbed Friday afternoon by a gun-wielding young man wearing a natty pinstriped suit and gray fedora. Jeezalik's parents said that was Wright's outfit when he left their house.
Both young men were in federal custody.
