Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe SYDNEY, June 25 (UPI) -- A freshwater crocodile measuring almost 16 1/2 feet long bit a bull shark in two at a river's upper flood plain in an Australian national park, officials say. The monster croc inside Kakadu National Park in the country's Northern Territory made a meal of the shark, which tour guide Dean Cameron estimated would have come in at 9 feet long and weighing more than 132 pounds, The (Sydney) Daily Telegraph reported. Advertisement Two tour boats holding about 45 tourists each were gliding along the river as part of the Yellow Water Cruise about 8.15 a.m. Saturday when they saw the wild feast. "It would have been amazing to see (the attack) -- very wild footage," Cameron said Thursday. "The croc would've taken the shark at night and then it would've had to take it to the bank to eat it." Cameron said he was not surprised to find sharks that far into a freshwater river system. "With the wildlife here you just don't know what you'll get to see," he said. "That's the beauty of it."
