GOTHENBURG, Sweden, July 29 (UPI) -- A Swedish man said he discovered a bag containing about $60,000 in the back seat of a car loaned to him by a repair shop.
The man, whose name was not released, said he was given the loaner car while repairs were being made to his own vehicle at the shop in Gothenburg and noticed the black and beige bag in the backseat as he was driving away, The Local reported Wednesday.
The bag contained Swedish kroner equaling about $60,000.
"There were packs of 100 kronor notes in plastic bags. It's not every day you find several hundred thousand kronor," the man said.
The man said he was able to contact the man who previously borrowed the car from the garage and made plans to return the money to its rightful owner.
"He wants to compensate me somehow but we haven't agreed yet on how," the man who found the money said.
