Lydia Nono, 49, picked up her winning check Tuesday for last week's Super 7 check draw and told reporters of the typical winner's plans of paying off debts and a mortgage, taking a vacation and helping her three adult children. Advertisement But she said her future plans also include opening her own business, the Toronto Star reported. "A coffee shop, a little one, something I can run myself," Nono said. "You have to do something, or you'll get bored." A single parent, Nono was laid off from her job of making paper coffee cups for the Tim Horton doughnut chain in March 2008. She said in her 20 years of playing the lottery, she's never won more than $500.
