DAGENHAM, England, June 13 (UPI) -- A businessman in England has discovered he has had a broken leg for nearly three decades.
The Daily Telegraph reported Saturday that Steve Webb, 49, plans to undergo surgery on the leg so he may grow back a chunk of dead bone.
Webb broke his left leg in a motorcycle crash when he was 20-years-old. He realized he still had a broken leg recently when he had an X-ray done for a toe surgery.
"I think it's extraordinary. Everyone tells me that having a broken leg for nearly 30 years is unheard of," Webb said. "I've had trouble with my leg ever since the accident but I was repeatedly told the bone had healed so I carried on walking on it."
