Principal Charlene Couvillon of Fort Walton Beach High School said distribution of the yearbooks was halted after officials realized a yearbook staff editor had concealed the four-letter "f-word" in the book by putting letters in four photo captions in bold, the Northwest Florida Daily News of Fort Walton Beach reported Wednesday. The principal said she was surprised to learn the identity of the student responsible for the prank. "If I had to write out a list of kids who might do this, I would have never included her name," she said. Couvillon said there have "absolutely been consequences for (the student's) actions," but the senior will be allowed to walk on stage during graduation.
