Capt. Lloyd Baker of the Tuscaloosa Metro Homicide Unit told The Tuscaloosa (Ala.) News the man's life was not in danger. Advertisement The man, 34, whose name was not reported, lives in an apartment complex in Northport in northwestern Alabama. He said he was sleeping with the gun in his bed and must have accidentally pulled the trigger as he slept.
