The effort gained Charlotte Kloska, 15, of Frankfort, Ill., a new pet because the horse's owner told animal care authorities he could no longer afford to keep it, the Chicago Tribune reported Friday. Advertisement Kloska, who already owns one horse, said she was happy to adopt the homeless horse and now is deciding what to name it, the Tribune said.
