COSENZA, Italy, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Authorities said police disguised as nurses and visitors arrested an alleged mobster after he woke up from a liposuction operation in Cosenza, Italy.
Italy's Carabinieri paramilitary police said Domenico Magnoli, 27, was arrested on a French warrant after waking to find undercover officers posing as nurses and concerned visitors with flowers and chocolates, The Guardian reported Friday.

Magnoli, a native of Cannes, France, is allegedly linked to the Piromalli crime family in the 'Ndrangheta syndicate, the most powerful crime organization in Italy, police said.
The warrant, which was issued in February 2007, charges Magnoli with trafficking in cocaine.
