Police say burglar left behind glove

FRANKLIN PARK, Ill., Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Police in Franklin Park, Ill., say a burglar who stole from a gas station early Wednesday left behind one of his gloves.

Investigators said the suspect, who appears on security camera footage, took the cash register and 34 cartons of cigarettes from the Peacock Mobil gas station at about 3:40 a.m., the Chicago Tribune reported Wednesday.

Officers said they received word that the gas station's burglar alarm was sounding and arrived to find a work glove with the name "Cain" written on it had apparently been left behind by the thief.

Police described the suspect recorded on the security camera as a bald white man between 5-foot-10 and 6 feet tall, weighing 200-230 pounds.
