Luis Lopez, 36, of Bayville and Franklin Vasquez, 32, of Hempstead were taken into police custody and charged with burglary after they were accused of attempting to steal a bathtub and construction items from a Merrick, N.Y., home, Newsday reported Wednesday. Advertisement Nassau County police found the men after someone reported a robbery was taking place at the home, which was undergoing construction. The pair faced arraignment in First District Court in Hempstead, the report said.
