Scott O'Day, 49, of Cohasset, Mass., was taking a stroll with his wife and pet dogs on his 49th birthday when they began to hear thunder, WCVB-TV, Boston reported Sunday. Advertisement The couple were surprised when they heard a particularly loud "boom" following the claps of thunder, the report said. "When I got struck I got knocked out of my shoes and was thrown four or five feet forward. I landed on some rocks," O'Day said of the Friday incident. O'Day's wife, Tucker, said she cradled her husband until he came to. Scott received hospital treatment for minor injuries and was released within a day, WCVB said. "Makes you appreciate everything you do have. Watch the weather forecasts a little more closely," Tucker said.
