Advertisement The Web site thinkSPAIN reported the Iberia flight from Madrid to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria was delayed nearly two hours while the crew made all 153 passengers disembark, then let all but 64 of them get back on. Sixty of the 64 who apologized for their behavior were provided lodging for the night before taking flights to Gran Canaria Tuesday, thinkSPAIN reported. The remaining four were left to their own devices. Stuart Melon, a passenger on the flight, told the BBC the fans he saw were well behaved. "There was nothing whatsoever, there was no shouting, singing ... it was the normal thing -- everybody had boarded the plane and were just looking forward to getting over to Gran Canaria," he told the British network. Elderly Brit couple marry DEVON, England, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- After a three-day romance, an elderly British couple tied the knot Monday in Devon. James Mason, 93, and Peggy Clark, 85, had planned a quaint ceremony at Paignton's Oldway Mansion, but instead had a long list of guests to celebrate their nuptial, BBC news reported. "It's absolute fairyland. Just to be together means the world. We both can't wait to be legal!" Clark said before the wedding. Mason, a former mayor of Torbay, wore a top hat and tails so Clark decided a white bridal gown and tiara would be appropriate for the happy occasion, Sky News reported. "Life used to be a dark, dismal place. It's now a very sunny, exciting place," Mason said of his bride's effect on him. The newlyweds kept their honeymoon plans secret, the BBC reported. Plan: Higher parking prices for big cars EDINBURGH, Scotland, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- City officials in Edinburgh, Scotland, are reportedly considering a plan that would base parking permit prices on carbon dioxide emissions. Advertisement City councilors from the Green Party put forward a motion for next week's full council meeting that calls for exploration of a plan that would charge lower prices to park smaller, more eco-friendly cars than to park gas-guzzling SUVs, The Scotsman reported Monday. The city's political parties backed the plan in their May manifestos and are expected to pass the motion, the newspaper said. "The council, like all of us, has a responsibility to cut the level of CO2 emissions and this would be a relatively simple way of contributing to this," said Councilor Steve Burgess, the Green Party's environment spokesman for Edinburgh. "It is working elsewhere, such as in Woking (England), and there is no reason why it can't work in Edinburgh," he said in The Scotsman's report. Love at first Web site for subway riders NEW YORK, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- A stockbroker from New York, inspired by the tale of love being found on the city's subway, has decided to start sawyouonthetrain.com. Antonio Priolo, 41, said he decided to help connect train riders who believe in love at first sight after hearing the story of Patrick Moberg, 21, tracking down Camille Hayton, 22, whom he spotted on the subway, the New York Post reported Monday. Advertisement Priolo said he wants sawyouonthetrain.com to help connect those looking for the same kind of love. "We have 2.5 million people who ride the city subway system each day," he told the Post. "Of course, love at first sight exists."
