Cecilia Sarkozy received a state credit card in May shortly after her husband, President Nicolas Sarkozy, took office and has used it twice, for two "professional" dinners that added up to about $550, The Telegraph reported. Advertisement The arrangement was criticized by the satirical weekly Le Canard Enchaine and a Socialist politician. The French presidential palace has an annual budget of $44 million for "the institution and the personal expenses of the president," the Telegraph reported.
