Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe HILTON HEAD ISLAND, N.C., May 21 (UPI) -- Two teens were let off with a trespassing warning after they tried unsuccessfully to smoke a bag of oregano atop a Piggly Wiggly in Hilton Head Island, S.C. The 14- and 15-year-old boys thought they had a bag of marijuana when they were caught atop the Coligny Plaza supermarket by a security guard, The Hilton Head Island Packet reported. Advertisement The security guard called the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office after he saw one of the boys quickly stuff a baggy into his pocket. The green leafy substance inside the bag turned out to be oregano and one of the boys said he got it from a "guy he knew," and they had unsuccessfully tried to smoke it, the report stated. The boys were later released to a parent.
