NASSAU, N.Y., April 20 (UPI) -- A wild night left a Farmingdale, N.Y., woman charged with second degree assault, criminal mischief, DUI and leaving the scene of multiple accidents.

About 20 minutes later, she hit a Nassau County Police Department patrol car as police tried to stop her and then was involved in a hit-and-run with a New York State Police vehicle.

Kelly wasn't stopped until troopers rammed her car into a tree on a side street in Oakdale, N.Y.

Ultimately, she was taken into custody by Nassau Police and transferred to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, where she was admitted for psychiatric evaluation, police said.

None of the people she struck with her vehicle suffered serious injuries.
