"By August 30, tensions have reached an all-time high, as couples realize their summer is well and truly over," sexual and relationship psychotherapist Paula Hall told The Telegraph. "This often manifests itself in bickering and needless arguments which is not healthy for the well-being of a relationship." Advertisement Christina Tait, of the Divorce Aid Web site for those going through divorce, agreed, and said coming days were the peak time for divorces being filed. "There is an upsurge in requests," she said. "There is another peak after Christmas."
