DAYTON, Ohio, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- NCR Corp. is donating a house in Dayton, Ohio, that belonged to aircraft pioneer Orville Wright to a Wright family foundation.

Hawthorn Hill in West Dayton was built by Orville in 1914. The company bought the house from the family not long after he died in 1948, the Dayton Daily News said.

The company used the house for receptions and to house important guests, keeping its interior and exterior largely as they were during Orville Wright's lifetime, the News said. The house features interesting devices put together by Orville, including a wrap-around shower nozzle.

The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Wright Family Foundation was founded by a grand-nephew of Wilbur and Orville Wright. The trustees are unsure what they will do with the house.

NCR, founded in Dayton, specializes in electronics for the retail and financial sectors.
