ALOHA, Ore., July 14 (UPI) -- A woman in Aloha, Ore., has been charged with abusing the 911 system after she called the number and asked for a "cutie pie" deputy to visit her house.

Two sheriff's deputies knocked on Lorna Jeanne Dudash's door in June when a neighbor heard a noise coming from her home. Dudash found one of the deputies attractive, and dialed 911 after the men left, KGW-TV, Portland, reported Friday.

"He's the cutest cop I've seen in a long time," Dudash told the dispatcher. "I know this is absolutely not in any way, shape or form an emergency, but if you would give the officer my phone number and ask him to come back ... would you mind?"

The deputy did indeed return -- to arrest the woman. She could face several thousands of dollars in fines and up to a year in jail if convicted of abusing the emergency number.

"That's taking up valuable time from dispatchers who could be taking true emergency calls ... apparently she didn't know how to look up the non-emergency number," said Sgt. David Thompson of the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
