ATLANTA, April 27 (UPI) -- Paul Anka's "(You're) Having My Baby" has been crowned the worst song of all time by 5,800 voters on CNN.com.

"Baby," the No. 1 U.S. single for three weeks in 1974, won the dubious distinction of worst song ever with less than 5 percent of the vote -- and only about 50 votes more than the second worst song, The Captain and Tennille's "Muskrat Love," CNN reported Thursday.

The No. 3 worst song ever was Debby Boone's "You Light Up My Life," which spent 10 weeks as No. 1 in 1977; followed by Charlene's 1982 "I've Never Been to Me" and rounding out the Top 5, Terry Jacks' 1974 "Seasons in the Sun."

Proving taste is subjective, several classics also received votes in the poll, including The Tokens' 1961 "The Lion Sleeps Tonight," the Shangri-Las' 1964 "Leader of the Pack" and the Beatles' 1968 hit "Hey Jude."
